'CIRCE' is an art project made entirely by hand.

For this project I was inspired by the book 'Circe' written by Madeline Miller. I made a small box, and it is wrapped with copper wire to keep it closed, I made with recycled paper and various spices (such as rosemary, basil) and leaves. Inside it contains two small volumes to flip through, again I made with recycled paper, and you can see the prints (first I engraved on linoleum and then ran intaglio ink over them with a roller). In the bottom of the box is ' I have a mortal's voice, let me have the rest ', an iconic phrase from this book.
